If you plan to visit Panama, make sure you comply with the following documents and regulations to enjoy a smooth trip:
• Valid passport: must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of your trip.
• Return or onward ticket: it is mandatory to present a return ticket to your country of origin or to your next destination.
• Economic solvency: you must demonstrate at least USD $500.00, either in cash, credit card, bank reference, letter of work or traveler’s checks. Some nationalities require a higher amount, so we recommend that you confirm this information with the Panamanian consulate in your country or with your airline.
• Place of lodging and purpose of the trip: provide the address where you will be staying and the reason for your visit.
• Tourist visa: Depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for a visa before your trip. Check this requirement directly with the Panamanian consulate in your country or check with your airline for additional details.
